SAN JOSE – 14 October, 2015 – GlobalReach Technology (www.globalreachtech.com), is providing a Hotspot 2.0 online sign-up (OSU) server for the third time at the WBA’s Wi-Fi Global Congress in San Jose this week.

Accuris Networks, AIRI Point Dume, BSG Wireless, GlobalReach Technology and Syniverse will act as the main hub providers. The service will be used for seamless authentication and roaming for 600+ delegates.

In association with the local authorities, the network also includes outdoor locations in downtown San Jose where users can experience roaming at popular tourist locations.

GlobalReach has a rich history with California’s Silicon Valley Wi-Fi. Working with San Francisco and San Jose GlobalReach created the world's first large-scale municipal Passpoint™ Hotspot 2.0 service, allowing millions of visitors and residents to automatically and securely connect to the internet.

Operators involved in the live demonstration include: AT&T, Bell Mobility, Boingo, BT, Cable Labs, China Mobile, Comcast, dU, FON, KT, Linktel, Mobily, NTT docomo, Orange, PCCW HKT, Portugal Telecom, PT Telecom Indonesia, Shaw, SK Telecom, Sprint, Swisscom, T-Mobile USA, Telstra, Telus, Towerstream and True.
